What’s with all the flooding?...It’s in the stars
I’m sure many of you are aware of the devastating floods in Texas, North Carolina and New Mexico. Each with water surging to heights of more than 20 feet. Two of those surges happened in less than 30 minutes. Lives lost, homes washed away, properties, roads and anything else in the water’s path was destroyed.
Some people are pointing fingers and blaming the government for weather control, others are suggesting climate change. I’m not here to take sides on any of that. I’m here to show you that it was in the stars. Frankly, I’ll be surprised if there isn’t at least one more major flood event before the end of July.
Every month Keith & I provide an astrological calendar to the students in our Functional Astrology Community. It gives the themes of particular zones and alignments in the zodiac.
As you can see below, the theme for the new moon at the end of June was
Intensity & Storms.
That new moon fell in conjunction with Jupiter thus amplifying the energy greatly. It was also square the Saturn-Neptune conjunction in Pisces in the specific area known for the hidden dangers of water. In addition to that it was sextile Mars who happens to be in a rather antagonistic position to Saturn-Neptune. I could go on but I’ll spare you. Suffice to say there is a LOT of astrological energy tied to storms and water.
*If anyone would like for Keith & I to do a deeper dive on this, just let us know in the comments.*
You may have seen some of our recent posts about the potential for some sort of attack on the water, in a reference to our borders or even a naval event. This New Moon brought the storms and intensity. It used water for the attack. That energy is likely not done. July 17th the last quarter moon will occur on the anaretic (final degree) of Pisces which is an incredibly volatile point of the zodiac.
I like to think of these moon cycles in the collective like intentions set by the cosmos. Any part of the intention that is not yet fulfilled will likely occur around the last quarter moon.
After the 21st of July the energy will shift. Though it is important to note that the Saturn-Neptune conjunction in Pisces is going to be around for a while and will have various phases of being more energized and potentially problematic. That is to say, now is an ideal time to avoid going on a cruise or renting a house boat, etc. Keep your eyes out for our monthly forecasts for more info on that.
At the end of the day, these floods were tragic and the loss undeniable. Sometimes I find in the chaos that understanding the stars helps make sense of things and helps me stay grounded.
I hope this helps you too.
