The Astrological Signature of American Conflict

What do the Revolutionary War, the Civil War, and WWII all have in common? Uranus in Taurus. And guess what’s happening in 2025?

Before we dive in, it’s important to understand that astrology is a study of prevailing energies and net probabilities. It is not a study of certainties, as human beings - individually and collectively - retain the power of sovereignty. If, that is, they choose as much. Otherwise, the probabilities are weighted accordingly.

Recognizing the patterns

Let’s get right down to the brass tacks of today’s article: every time Uranus has transited Taurus, war has reached the US homeland. This is not a guess. Not a theory. It’s a proven astrological pattern.

That’s a bold statement. Every time?

Yep. Every time.

It happened during the Revolutionary War, the Civil War, and World War II (Pearl Harbor). And, Uranus re-enters Taurus on March 18th, 2025.

But there's a deeper layer to this pattern. The Civil War was preceded by a Neptune opposition to the U.S. natal Neptune (1° Virgo 41'). This alignment (the Neptune opposition) was last seen (exact) in 1857–1859 creating the mass psychosis, ideological fractures, and national delusion that set the stage for that war. Neptune was again in opposition to its US natal position (exact) in 2021–2024. “Mass psychosis” might be a blanket term, but I think it’s pretty easy to pick it out in our society now. A different flavor than prior to the Civil War, and yet this new form of psycho-slavery is just as pervasive and destructive.

As such, we’re seeing history repeat. If not word-for-word, it’s sure as hell rhyming.

Which leads to the logical next question: why is Uranus in Taurus such a critical position in the US chart? Let’s peel it apart.

The Astrological Code Predicting Every War on U.S. Soil

The first thing we notice is that Taurus (and by extension, Venus) rules the U.S. 6th House. In mundane astrology, the 6th house, as it relates to a country’s war readiness, represents the infrastructure that sustains war efforts, including military personnel, supplies, strategy, and execution. The military-industrial complex, as it were. Unpacking that a bit more, we find the 6th house ruling:

• Military forces, service members, & national workforce.

• Public health & national labor conditions.

• Conflicts related to working-class struggles.

We also see the US’s natal Venus - ruling the US’s 6th house via her association to Taurus - residing in the 7th house. The house of open enemies, and declared war itself.

So when transit Uranus hits Taurus (and specifically once it hits the cusp of the 6th at 9 Taurus), it brings radical disruption (Uranus) to labor, military affairs, and national stability. And I think it’s pretty easy to see war as the ultimate 6th-house disruption: it mobilizes troops, radically alters labor markets, and reshapes daily life.

War drastically reconfigures the economy and workforce. We don’t think too much about how the Revolutionary War dismantled the pre-existing colonial labor systems. But it did, and not only in an economic sense, but any war exhausts the prime labor force. It forces innovation out of sink-or-swim necessity. Even more so in revolutionary times, as the labor force was primarily male-driven and physical. Laboring and soldiering being shouldered by the same segment of society.

The same held true during the Civil War. And of course this condition was amplified due to the abolition of slavery that shattered - especially in the South - the existing labor (6th house) structure.

And WWII radically transformed industrial production and women's labor roles, opening the door for the feminist movement of the 70s.

Taking a step back, Taurus is the realm of economics, resources and land, ruling agriculture, financial stability, and national resources.

And of course, any war - especially one on a country’s own. soil - has always necessitated massive resource shifts. Brining with it economic upheaval that fundamentally alters the workforce, national resources and distribution of those resources. I can’t think of a more resource driven, Tauran theme than something like the Manhattan Project.

There’s another piece of the puzzle to add to this: Taurus and the 6th house is where the US’s natal Uranus resides. Specifically at 18 Taurus 11. Which leads us to:

The Explosive Moment Uranus Returns to Its Birth Position

When we look back at the last two Uranus returns in US history, we see the 1860/1861 and 1944/1945 timeframes. But what to make of this? The first return correlates with the start of the Civil War, and the second return correlates with the winddown of WWII.

From his position at 18 Taurus in the 6th, Uranus is ruling the US 3rd house. The 3rd house in mundane astrology is associated with such things as:

• Media, propaganda, and communication.

• Transportation, supply chains, and internal movement.

• Neighboring nations and domestic infrastructure.

The 3rd house then is the central nervous system of a nation, and when war is on the table, the 3rd house dictates the flow of information, supplies, and internal cohesion. Or, the lack thereof.

It’s not too hard to see how these two wars in particular involved major breakdowns of internal systems. And propaganda is always part and parcel to wartime efforts. Additionally, the Civil War divided communication and transportation between North & South. And WWII saw extreme levels of wartime propaganda, rationing, and industrial logistics.

So when Uranus returns to Taurus, it triggers chaos in these 3rd house domains:

• Media & propaganda wars intensify.

• National infrastructure is disrupted.

• Divisions in communication lead to a fractured nation.

Neptune's opposition (mass psychosis) + Uranus in Taurus (economic & media breakdown) = societal fracture that escalates into armed conflict.

What can we expect?

A large part of astrology is understanding the past to inform the future. That’s true of a country, or an individual. That said, each Uranus cycle as it relates to war in the US follows a predictable trajectory:

1. Uranus enters Taurus → Economic & labor destabilization begins.

2. Mid-cycle (approximately 9°-18° Taurus) → Direct conflict engagement.

3. Uranus conjuncts U.S. natal Uranus (18° Taurus) → A national fracture is cemented.

4. Uranus in late Taurus → Post-war reconstruction.

Given this pattern, we can predict that the most dangerous time frame is between 2027-2029, when transit Uranus hits its natal position. However, the destabilization process begins immediately after Uranus enters Taurus on March 18, 2025.

One of the most overlooked aspects of war is how the economy of a nation collapses first, forcing it into militarization as a desperate economic solution.

We’ve already covered the US Pluto return, and how that is shaking up the US economy. That in and of itself is (and has been) enough to reshape the US economic front. But now on top of that we have the Uranus transit into Taurus and the 6th house on the heels of a psychosis-inducing Neptune opposition. The economy and workforce will therefore be the next things to destabilize before we go “conflict active”.

Considering the previous Uranus-in-Taurus conflicts:

• Revolutionary War: Preceded by economic strain, British taxation, disrupted colonial trade, and “taxation without representation” revolts (Boston tea party).

• Civil War: Preceded by economic dependence on slavery vs. industrialized labor. Agriculture-based economy vs industrial economy.

• WWII: Preceded by the Great Depression & massive industrial restructuring.

But let’s not stop there. Smart, predictive astrology has us consider the astrological weather at hand as it applies to the state of the ship at sea. Again, this is true when assessing the chart of an individual, or a country. To that point, the US is currently dealing with:

• A global debt crisis built on a ponzi scheme of fiat currency and government mismanagement (“lost” funds and outright theft)

• De-dollarization efforts (global process of reducing reliance on the U.S. dollar (USD) as the world’s dominant reserve currency.)

• Supply chain disruptions / collapses

• Workforce automation disruptions + ascendence of AI tech

• Extreme wealth disparity leading to social instability

These are textbook Uranus-in-Taurus precursors. It suggests massive economic shocks will hit the U.S. by mid 2025-2026, pushing the nation toward military solutions—whether through direct war, economic warfare, or cyber conflict.

When you say “war” what do you mean?

What constitutes “war” is obviously much different now than, say, in Revolutionary times. Traditional warfare is still conducted, but it’s much more pinpointed. And “proxy wars” have largely taken the place of one empire squaring off against another.

But what we are considering, specifically in this article, is warfare on US soil. And I think that is much more likely to look like:

• Economic & resource wars fought through financial systems, trade, energy supplies, and natural resources.

• cyber & AI warfare fought through hacking, cyberattacks, AI-controlled operations, and information warfare.

• psychological & social engineering warfare fought through manipulation of beliefs, emotions, and perceptions to control populations.

All of which are already underway. What you’ll see going forward is an exponential increase in all three after Uranus leaves fire (Aries) and enters Taurus on March 18th.

The Neptune Factor

The Neptune opposition (exact, 2021-2024) laid the mental and ideological groundwork for the upcoming conflict. As was alluded to earlier, Neptune in Pisces (opposing U.S. natal Neptune in Virgo) is mirroring the Civil War era’s mass delusion and ideological fracturing.

Neptune distorts reality, creating group delusions, propaganda, and fractured perceptions of truth. In the 1850s, this played out as:

• The rise of radical abolitionist vs. pro-slavery factions.

• Sectionalism and political extremism reaches a boiling point.

• The infamous Dred Scott decision polarizes the nation even further.

In the 2020s, we see:

• Political polarization at unprecedented levels.

• Mass adoption of propaganda-driven narratives.

• Social media fueling cognitive warfare.

• Weaponized psychological manipulation.

In both eras, the Neptune opposition psychosis precedes the Uranus war trigger. It sets the psychosis-driven stage for an irreconcilable national fracture.

The key takeaway is this: Before a single shot is fired, the war begins in the mind. Neptune opposition creates psychological fog—mass psychosis, delusion, ideological warfare.

Then, Uranus ingresses Taurus (3/18/25), immediately on the heels of an extremely powerful Lunar Eclipse.

This is followed by the March 29th Solar Eclipse that will hit at an extremely sensitive portion of the US chart representing the homeland’s “borders”. This represents a breach in the nation’s physical and/or ideological borders.
